The vast majority of divorces in New Jersey are amicably resolved without the need for contested litigation through negotiation and settlement.  These cases are referred to by the court as uncontested divorces.  This is by far the best outcome since it addresses the concerns of not only your assets, but also and more importantly, your children.  An uncontested divorce will minimize both the economic cost and emotional impact upon the parties and your children. 

 

Our firm is prepared to negotiate, draft and execute a written Marital Settlement Agreement which will embody your agreement and understanding with your spouse.  Once the Agreement is signed, then we file the necessary documents to obtain a Final Judgment of Divorce which will incorporate the terms of your settlement.
